Modelling Business Processes - Course Overview

Our Modelling Business Processes course provides you with the skills you need to identify, model, and improve Business Processes in your organisation.  This is a Practitioner Level Business Analysis qualification accredited and validated by the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) of the British Computer Society (BCS).

The course consists of highly practical discussions of key topics based around case studies. You will work individually & in small groups practising all the techniques we teach, including the BPMN, which is rapidly becoming the defacto standard for process modelling.  You will gain the ability to identify, analyse and model business processes at various levels. You will learn how to identify process measures & opportunities for improving any process.

All exam fees, course materials, refreshments and lunches are included in the course price. We also provide the BCS book "Business Analysis" by Don Yeates and Debra Paul. We send you this in advance and provide directed pre-reading.

Exams may be taken either at the end of the course or, if you feel you need more time, arranged with you at a later date. The exam price (£120 + VAT) is included in the course fee - this will be deducted if the exam is not required. We supply you with sample exams (and suggested answers) so you will be extremely well prepared for the ISEB Modelling Business Processes examination.

Holders of the ISEB BSD Certificate in Modelling Business Processes should be able to:

• Analyse the performance issues of individual tasks
